Chi Omega Parents Weekend

This is Chi Omega Parents Weekend at the University of South Carolina. So, on our way down to Florida, we are stopping to attend the events with Ashley. Last night was a barbeque on the rooftop of one of the buildings on campus. It was so nice. The food was delicious (barbeque, homemade macaroni and cheese, baked beans, cole slaw, banana pudding...mmm!) They had a live band and all the girls and their parents had a chance to mix and mingle and introduce each other to their friends.

Tonight is a more formal event that is going to be lots of fun. We are taking Ashley and John out to dinner, then to the event. Sunday morning, Mark, Laura, and Lindy are driving up to meet us for breakfast with Ashley, then we are off to West Palm Beach, FLORIDA!!! :)

Ashley was elected president of Chi-O back in December. It is the largest sorority on the USC campus and the one with the top GPA. There are so many cute and classy girls in that sorority. We are so proud of Ashley...she has worked really hard these past few months to live up to her title.

Here are a few pictures from last night.

Here we are up on the roof overlooking the football stadium.

The band played from inside this tent.

After dinner, we went by the sorority house. Here is the entrance hall. Isn't it beautiful?

Here is the dining hall and the den where you can hang out and watch tv.
